The Digital Dividend - The role of Managed Services in a Digital World
The role of IT and the way companies are buying it is changing creating threats and opportunities for existing MSPs and new market entrants alike. Our Managed Services and Hosting Summit 2017 will focus on how the market is changing and what it will take for MSPs to succeed in this brave new digital world.
The role of IT within modern businesses is changing from using technology to automate existing processes and functions to using it as a force to accelerate and improve business outcomes. This rise in strategic importance is permeating all facets of businesses and creating new opportunities for MSPs. Organisations that understand these changing customer requirements and adjust their sales and marketing engagement models to address them are set to reap considerable rewards.
Morning: The role of managed services in a digital world - This session will focus on how Managed Service offerings need to evolve in the digital era and how to build a strong and sustainable MSP practice. Our speakers and panellists will outline how MSP business models need to change and the implications this will have on sales, personnel and pricing strategies.
It will also look at the increasing impact of the Cloud within Enterprises and SMBs, examine the channel opportunities resulting from the emergence of IoT and look at the impact these trends are having on Mergers & Acquisitions, the lessons to be learned and how to build value in an MSP practice while generating it for your customers
Afternoon: Managed services – securing the future - This session will focus on the opportunities for MSPs in helping organisations secure their own and customers’ digital information against a background of mounting international fraud and cyber-attacks. Speakers and panellists will share their knowledge and insight into the threats that organisations now face and what they can expect as digitalisation spreads throughout all facets of business operations.
In particular we will focus on how MSPs can benefit from the increasing importance of security by becoming the primary support partner for their customers in mitigating security threats and how to leverage the increasing demand for effective security solutions to safeguard their customers while building more value in their businesses.

Please find below a selection of testimonials from our event in 2015 from sponsors
“An event like this, where you can get people together, its important that we all share information and be open. If we share our best practices, in the long run everyone is going to benefit.”- President and Managing Director – ConnectWise
“We found several new partner prospects for cloud archiving at the MS&H Summit and were very pleased with the level of attendance of mostly CxO and Director level business leaders. Objectives met – we look forward to future events!”
- Director Channels EMEA – Daegis
“Our customer base in this market space has grown very quickly, so it’s very useful for us for exposure but also to get feedback from these types of organisations as to what their challenges are and we get an opportunity to tell them how we can help them and address these.”- EMEA Channel Manager – Tintri
